Chinese consumer electronics major Lenovo is reportedly planning to launch a new budget phablet, dubbed as K4 Note, in India later this month.

Technology blog BGR India, citing sources, has claimed that Lenovo K3 Note, which was unveiled in March will hit Indian stores by June-end with a sub-₹10,000 price tag.

Lenovo K3 Note is already available in China. It sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop, powered by the 64-bit class Mediatek Octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a high capacity 3000 mAh battery that can run the phone for close to 750 hours under standby mode.

As of now, Lenovo has not responded to the speculations doing the rounds on the internet. Unless the company clears the air over the rumours, this report will remain as mere speculation.

Competition:

If Lenovo K3 Note does get launched with a sub-₹10,000 price tag , it will face a stiff challenge against its Chinese peers Meizu Note M1, Xiaomi Mi4i, Redmi Note 4G, ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini, and the recently-released indigenous brand Micromax Canvas Knight 2.
