The synopsis of the mid-season premiere of Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD", titled "Bouncing Back", has been revealed. The synopsis states what Coulson (Clark Gregg) and other SHIELD members will be up to once the series returns from its long winter break.

Like most of the time, the synopsis reveals Coulson and his men will run into some dangerous evil force and will work together to put an end to it. However, apart from it, not much has been revealed of the upcoming episode.

As mentioned by Entertainment Weekly, the synopsis of the episode reads: "In the aftermath of his trip to Maveth, Coulson is more determined than ever to get to Gideon Malick [Powers Boothe] and put an end to Hydra once and for all."

In Episode 10, Ward (Brett Dalton) was killed by Coulson as he returned to Earth with Fitz (Iain De Caestecker). However, Ward appeared at the end of the episode, seemingly possessed by a mysterious alien.

Even though Ward is back from the dead, he won't be the same anymore and Coulson will have to make great efforts to stop him along with Malick. As the story progresses, it seems the rest of Season 3 will focus on Coulson's mission of stopping Ward and Hydra.

According to TV Line, new characters will be introduced in "Bouncing Back" as Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and her team will trace more Inhumans with unique powers. However, whether all of those Inhumans will be friends or foes will be revealed only in the upcoming episodes.

There is a significant possibility that the character of Slingshot will be introduced in the upcoming episodes as she is a prominent member of Daisy's team in comic books and has also fought alongside Daisy as a Secret Warrior. Other Inhumans will be revealed soon, too.

Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD" Season 3 will return on March 8, Tuesday, on ABC.
