Aamir Khan, who is known for his unique promotional strategies, has left no stone unturned to promote his upcoming film, "P.K.".This time around, the actor has gone a step ahead and has planned to interact with the audience by introducing talking standees.

Interestingly, the standees will have the star's photo and his voice installed in them, and Aamir will talk back once people approach the standee. The makers are confident that the talking standees, kept in multiplexes, will generate interest among the public.

Aamir and director Rajkumar Hirani are said to have come up with this innovative idea and this will be the first time that such a technique is being used for a film's promotion.

"It is for the first time any Bollywood film will have a talking standee. It adds an interesting element to a static marketing tool," the film's spokesperson said in a statement, according to IANS Live.

While Aamir during the promotions of "Dhoom 3" last year, chose not to make any appearances on television shows and yet managed to rule the box office, this year the actor is all set to interact with the public for Hirani's "P.K.". With such diverse ideas, the perfectionist seems to know exactly where and how to hit the right kind of audience.

Meanwhile, Aamir has already created fan frenzy after posing nude for the first look poster of "P.K." that was unveiled recently. And now his decision to interact with the audience, the promotion period will surely enhance the curiosity level of the movie-lovers, who are eagerly waiting for the flick.

"P.K." has been produced under the banner of Vinod Chopra productions and will have Aamir playing the role of an alien creature that lands on Earth and puts on several avatars in order to survive on the planet. Apparently, the 48-year-old will play a dual role, as an alien and God.

The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt as main characters and is set to release worldwide on 19 December.

Bollywood actors appear to be working extremely hard at promotions and coming up with the most unique and creative ideas. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan too made headlines when he decided to set off on a world tour along with the entire cast of the upcoming film "Happy New Year" and hold a series of concerts across various cities to promote his film.
