"Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil"--a fairly new show on Star Plus--has left its viewers disappointed after the news of it going off air surfaced recently.

Not just the viewers, even the show's lead pair was shocked to know about the serial being pulled off air. Although "Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil" was meant to be a finite series, the sudden change in the decision has left the cast upset.

The lead actor, Pearl V Puri aka Abeer, was reportedly teary-eyed when he got the news.

"It was an emotional moment, for the leads Pearl V. Puri and Asmita Sood, when the news was broken to them. Pearl was teary eyed. Even though it was always a finite series, no one expected the show to end this soon," a source told the Asian Age.

The show will be replaced by Balaji Telefilms' new show "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" that has Vibhav Roy and Shritama Mukherjee in the lead roles.

It was said that "Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil", despite having managed to impress its viewers, has been experiencing drastic fall in the TRP ratings, forcing the makers to pull the plug off.

"Saurabh Tiwari's Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil has severely failed to get the required TRP ratings and thus the makers of the show have decided to pull the plug off. The show is said to telecast its final episode on September 19 making space for Balaji Telefilms' Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan," a source told India-Forums.
