"Dabangg" actress Sonakshi Sinha will make her debut as a singer with a new single titled "Ishqoholic". The new single, which is a hip-hop item, is titled as "Ishqoholic" is already recorded.
Meet Bros compose Sonakshi's new single, while Kumaar has written the lyrics, according to an official statement. The actress will also be rapping a few lines.
T-Series head Bhushan Kumar is happy that Sonakshi is making her debut as a singer.
"Sonakshi has a beautiful voice and the song has turned out to be very likeable and easy to hum. I am so glad we got a chance to work on something which binds the world together – music," he said.
"'Ishqoholic' will make her fans see the unseen unheard side of her and cherry on the top is they will hear her rap too. The song will welcome Sonakshi to the music world easily," Kumar added.
"The video for the song will be shot later this month, by Gifty whom I have worked with on the 'Desi Kalakaar' number along with Yo Yo Honey Singh," Sonakshi said.
Meanwhile, on the movie front, the actress is shooting for a thriller "Akira", which is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, and "Force 2", which is directed by Abhinay Deo.
