Sunny Leone once received cold vibes from a few quarters of the film industry, but now everyone seems to be warming up to her. Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" may feature her in an item number.

SRK and Sunny could share screen space for the first time in the Rahul Dholakia directorial, The Asian Age reported. This isn't surprising, considering that they harbor feelings of esteem for each other. At the premier of Sachiin Joshi-Sunny's "Jackpot" (2013) SRK had said he would love to work with her, to which she had responded saying, "I am in awe of Shah Rukh Khan."

"I never cast for my films. It is the director who does it. But if there is an opportunity for me to work with Sunny, I'd be happy to do it. Every artist and actor has his or her own calibre and Sunny is a wonderful actor," the leading daily quoted him from a few years ago.

This comes a month after Aamir Khan and the leading lady met for lunch in New Delhi. The meeting was a warm one and spilled on to evening tea. Apparently, the conversation featured talks about movies, after which Mr. Perfectionist extended an invitation to visit him on the sets of "Dangal."

Priyanka Chopra and Sunny's double-meaning Twitter talk was another instance where an A-lister stepped forward to make Sunny feel at home. Her anti-smoking short film with Deepak Dobriyal and Aloknath was praised by the "Quantico" actress.

Meanwhile, Sunny couldn't contain her fondness for Priyanka. Calling her a "jack of all trades," Sunny added that she was indeed one of the inspiring women the film industry has today. "It feels proud that when you are in another country and you see a billboard of her. Then you go like, 'Yes, she is Indian, she is from where I am from.' I think she is very inspiring," IANS quoted the "Mastizaade" actress as saying.

In other news, "Raees" may clash with Salman Khan's "Sultan." The crime-drama also features Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
