Ekta Kapoor's shows are known for taking leap to bring freshness in the television series and soon viewers will get to see leap in their favourite show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".

According to reports, one of the popular shows of Star Plus "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" starring Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Patel and Anita Hassanandani in the leads will take a "sequential leap".

The makers of the show will incorporate the leap in July or August, following which the child artists Ruhanika Dhawan (Ruhi) and Gautam Ahuja (Aditya) might bid adieu from the show.

"Not immediately, but come July or August and viewers will see a leap. The kids will grow up and the plot will turn more dramatic. Currently the creatives are working to wrap up ongoing tracks," a source told Tellychakkar.com.

Ekta, who is known as the queen of Television industry, previously explained why she incorporates leap in her TV series.

"If channels tell me today that we don't want a leap and we'll give you a three-month break and you start from where you leave the story, I will not do a leap," the 37-year-old said in 2012.

She also explained that taking a leap brings freshness in the show, besides a new track keeps the viewers engaged.

"Whenever you make a show, you deal with daily issues on an episodic basis and after some time it stagnates. Abroad, you get a seasonal break so you can come back with freshness. To bring freshness, sometimes you need to show a different aspect of the story and for that you do a leap. It's as simple as that," said Ekta.
